Journey to ABS Journeyman Smith
The task of earning your "JS" (Journeyman Smith) stamp with the American Bladesmith Society is not easy. The performance tests devised by the early masters to challenge your ability to create a blade that truly performs and stands up to punishment. When that is done, there are 5 presentation knives that must pass the judgement of a panel of ABS Master Bladesmiths.

The performance test is now behind me, and I'm currently working on my presentation knives.
